BYE OPRAH: The End of an Era!!

I would like to salute and say farewell to the reigning Queen of all media, Oprah Winfrey. Unless you've been under a rock, you know that The Oprah Winfrey Show ended after 25 years of inspiring millions. Ms. Winfrey told us what to read, what to watch and even who to vote for as President.     She used her platform to inspire others to live their best life.   The woman has an empire.  On May 23rd and 24th she aired her suprise farewell spectacular which featured A- list stars such as legends,  Aretha Franklin, Patti Labelle, Stevie Wonder,  actors Halle Berry,  Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise,  Will Smith,   Jada Pinkett, pop star  Beyonce, Josh Groban and basketball legend Michael Jordan to name a few.  On Wednesday May 25th, she aired her final show where she was the only guest and thanked her fans for 25 years of great television.   Although the show has ended Ms. Winfrey will still be busy with the Oprah Winfrey Network.

Beyonce's Back: Superstar reveals sexy album cover.

Beyonce's back!!!!! The pop superstar revealed the very sexy album cover for her fourth studio album simply titled,  "4". 

“We all have special numbers in our lives, and 4 is that for me,” as stated to Billboard Magazine. “It’s the day I was born. My mother's birthday, and a lot of my friends’ birthdays, are on the fourth;  April 4 is my wedding date.”

You can say what you want about Beyonce but the she's one of the hardest working women in show business today.  Yeah she's sexy but she's not just a pretty face,  the girl has talent and always presents herself in a classy way.  Every time she drops an album she dominates the charts and ends careers (lol).  It always puzzles me how so many women claim to hate Beyonce yet, every time she comes out   those same chicks are singing her songs and trying to do the dances from her videos.  I think folks need to stop hating and just admit the girl is good.  Anyway, I expect this summer to be ruled by the pop queen.   So all you other singers better push your album back because on June 28th Beyonce is coming to shut it down.

Kelly Price is Back! Singer Brings Down The House in NYC

R &B singer Kelly Price is back with a hot new album simply titled Kelly.   Monday May 3, 2011 I had the pleasure of seeing Kelly Price preview her album live at the Singers Lounger Event at The Samsung Experience in NYC. The event was hosted by singer Anwar Robinson of American Idol fame.  Kelly gave a great interview and played a few songs off her album. The big treat was her powerhouse live performance of her song Tired.    The album which also features the hit single Not My Daddy featuring Stokely from Mint Condition was released Tuesday May 3, 2011.  Go get this album!!!!
