The Essence Festival was filled with great music, one of the highlights was a beautiful duet between Kelly Price and Shirley Murdock  who originally recorded As We Lay in the 80s.   Kelly Price remade this classic on her in 2000 on her Mirror Mirror album.  Enjoy!!

R &B singer Kelly Price is back with a hot new album simply titled Kelly.   Monday May 3, 2011 I had the pleasure of seeing Kelly Price preview her album live at the Singers Lounger Event at The Samsung Experience in NYC. The event was hosted by singer Anwar Robinson of American Idol fame.  Kelly gave a great interview and played a few songs off her album. The big treat was her powerhouse live performance of her song Tired.    The album which also features the hit single Not My Daddy featuring Stokely from Mint Condition was released Tuesday May 3, 2011.  Go get this album!!!!
