Spotlight on: Whitney-Fan.com

You can say what you want about Whitney Houston but the truth is she'll always be the premiere voice that set the standard for the pop divas who came afterwards (including Mariah).   If Whitney Houston decided never to sing again she has nothing to prove, she's got hits that stand the test of time, won just about every award there is to win and will go down in history as the greatest voice of our time.   With that being said, I want to put the spotlight on hand downs the best Whitney Houston fan site ever!  I'm talking about  www.Whitney-fan.com

Don't go there looking for trashy gossip or trouble. Whitney-Fan.com is a site for the true die hard Whitney lovers. Ms. Houston is represented in a positive light.  With all these mean - spirited blogs and websites out here it's refreshing to know that such a site exists.   Please check it out for the latest news, photos, trivia etc.  Whitney Houston fans won't be disappointed.

  1. I agree with you on the idea that Whitney Houston's hits are timeless. However, there's a great deal of her career that will be remembered as being in the "shadows." It's almost as if the music world knows two different Whitneys: 1. The Powerhouse Whitney that could bring tears to your eyes with just two notes and 2. The Druggie
Whitney that attempted a poor recovery after years of an addiction takeover

It's kind of how one chooses to look at her life. Michael Jackson for instance was in public ridicule for his scandals and his ever-changing appearance. However, his death spawned a renewed global appreciation for his work and life. Heck, we've got a Wii game out for him.

Will the same thing happen in Whitney's case? After her death (not saying it's imminent)will there suddenly be a "mass love" for her life and music? That in effect would be hypocrisy on the part of the media moreso than society itself.

    Why not celebrate her now?
